Workshops and Training

Professional development as a team creates lasting connection and activates shared sense of purpose and direction.

I will bring you learning that continues far beyond the workshop; that transforms individuals and how they show up, and that integrates the learning into your workplace culture for lasting impact.

Any workshop or training can be a stand-alone experience, or offered as a series in combination with coaching for either individuals or teams to solidify takeaways, and set goals for continued activation and accountability.

I will customize a training and coaching package that best fits your organization’s needs!

Emotional Intelligence: Essentials for Leaders and Teams

What separates good leaders from great leaders in the workplace? While IQ and technical skills contribute to success, many studies have shown that strong Emotional Intelligence (EI) is foundational for impactful leadership and strong teams.

Through this essentials training, you will learn and practice EI skills that build trust, collaboration, and engagement, and contribute to building a culture of care and connection in which everyone feels motivated to bring their best.

Accentuate the Positive! Creating a Strengths- based Culture

Participants will engage in a strengths assessment prior to this learning experience. During our work together, we’ll focus on how awareness and reinforcement of core strengths can improve well-being, productivity, collaboration, and increased sense of meaning at work and in life.

Mindfulness@Work

Mindfulness practices enhance clarity and focus in our minds, emotional awareness and resilience in our hearts, and balance and calm in our bodies. In fast-paced work environments, where attention is pulled in many directions all at once, mindfulness techniques can make a difference. Contrary to popular assumptions, you don’t need to meditate for hours to experience benefits. In this session, we’ll learn short accessible practices that reduce stress and bring more ease to how we show up, how we relate to each other, and how we get things done.

BreathWork Works: From Stress Reduction to Healing

Like mindfulness, breathwork is a set of practices that reduce stress, help with nervous system regulation, clearer thinking, and improved focus.  In this workshop, we’ll learn about the fascinating science of breathwork; and the ways that breath is connected to every system in our body, impacting health and well-being in countless ways. We’ll  practice techniques that center around the A.R.T. of breathwork: Awareness, Regulation, and Transformation.

Communication that Connects: Beyond the Basics

We all know that good communication goes way beyond speaking and hearing. We’ll explore best practices for connecting conversations that may seem simple, but that in reality take practice and intention. We’ll explore and practice listening with more than our ears, asking powerful questions, giving effective  feedback, and more. Honing excellent communication skills will have a powerful impact on bringing  more positivity and productivity to your work environment.

Positive Intelligence: Thoughts that Sabotage/Thoughts that Empower

We’ve all got those voices in our heads that limit us and hold us back: “The Judge”, “The Pleaser”, and “The Procrastinator”, to name a few. This learning experience will offer science-backed tools for noticing thoughts that hold us back, and for rewiring our brains so that we can habitually turn self-sabotage into thoughts that empower and unlock more of our potential.

Burnout: Prevention, Coping, and Recovery

The statistics are staggering. The cost to people and organizations – in terms of both human suffering and bottom-line results – is incredibly high. A recent Deloitte survey revealed that 77% of employees have experienced burnout symptoms in the past year, and 70% feel their employers don’t do enough to prevent it. This learning experience will offer everything you wish you didn’t need to know: realities of the impact, signs and strategies for coping, renewing a sense of well-being, and realigning with energy and purpose. We’ll also address organizational responsibility and tools for building burnout prevention measures into the culture.
